The Anniversary of the Affordable Care Act: A Year Later, The False Attacks Continue » Michele Bachmann, Steve King, John Anthony Culberson
Conservatives such as Reps. Steve King (R-IA), left, and Michele Bachmann (R-MN), right, claim that $105 billion of mandatory funding was secretly put in the Affordable Care Act unbeknownst to members of Congress. This is false. Conservatives often push myths and misconceptions of the health reform law as a way to increase opposition.
